Job Title: Global Account Manager
What did you do before joining Expro?
I went to Louisiana State University (LSU), and majored in Biological Engineering and later went back for my MBA.
I started my career at Halliburton as a field engineer in Test Tools and TCP. I then moved into Technical Advising which evolved into Business Development.
Tell us about your day to day role?
My job involves securing and maintaining strategic customer partnerships globally. I am the “Voice of the Customer” at Expro and the “Voice of Expro” for the customer. This involves making certain this customer is satisfied on a top level for all products and services and in all parts of the world.
What advice would you give yourself at the start of your career?
I would tell my younger self to BE BOLD. Don’t be afraid to be the only one in the room. Stand on your individuality with no fear of rejection. This world was built on uniqueness and not status quo.
Who or what inspires you?
My family is definitely my inspiration. They are always my cheerleaders in the background. When it comes to engineering, I was first generation. When it came to the oilfield, I was first generation. Despite that all, they pushed me to keep going on my heaviest days and for that I will be forever grateful.
What would you say to someone considering a career in engineering?
Engineering has afforded me the life experience to work with various types of people, in various parts of the world. Be open to the experience. Engineering is limitless.
What do you do outside of work?
I like to refurbish houses and furniture. I don’t have nearly enough time to do these things but when I do it is a great time.
