- Expro was approached to provide a low CAPEX, fast-track production solution for a sizeable onshore gas development based on a modular early production facility (EPF) suitable for a 15+ years life
- This would be delivered on a Lease, Operate and Maintain (LOM) basis, to strict local regulations covering safety, equipment certification and local content restrictions
- This was delivered in Assam, a remote area of India with limited infrastructure
- The customer challenged Expro with delivering a bespoke solution that would achieve these objectives, processing up to 35 mmscf/day of gas, 800 bpd of condensate and 1000 bpd of produced water

- Expro successfully delivered a turnkey solution for Assam's first Modular Gas Processing Plant (MGPP)Expro's track record and experience ensured all equipment was successfully mobilised to site in just 10 months. This compares to a typical delivery of up to 36 months for a purchased Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for a similar operator owned facility
- Expro's in-country team collaborated with the company's global product and procurement teams to deliver a bespoke package including: gas processing equipment, produced water treatment, condensate storage, tanker loading facilities, metering, control system, power generation, firewater system and other supporting utilities
- A comprehensive local recruitment and training programme was delivered in parallel, with 100% local content, supported centrally by Expro's dedicated Learning and Development team
Value to client
- The fast-track bespoke production solution allowed the customer to monetise its gas and condensate production from the field via export to a near-by sales and processing facility
- Monetising hydrocarbons within 1-2 years allowed the customer to focus on production related aspects of their wells as opposed to managing surface facilities
- All equipment packages were provided as modular container-sized units for ease of transportation, on-site installation and hook-up, which can be further adapted if production or processing requirements change over time
- The turnkey approach for process equipment required minimal customer project management and operations teams with Expro managing all aspects from design to delivery
