Customer challenges
- The customer’s operations were in the remote location of Equatorial Guinea which added additional challenges to the project
- The customer had a tight delivery for the first well on the original rig chosen for the operation. Expro’s project management and delivery teams provided extraordinary performance in meeting client delivery expectations
- A late change in the customer’s requirements resulted in a change from a 9 5/8” slick joint to a 7 5/8” slick joint. We were able to implement this alternative solution by sourcing equipment from our vast equipment inventory. This change prevented the customer from having to pull the BOP prior to completion operations saving them at least three days of rig time
- After the first well, the customer changed out the rig which resultedi n Expro requiring a reconfiguration of equipment to the new rig BOP. Expro modified existing equipment by performing machining work in Equatorial Guinea, ensuring the interface with the new rig was seamless and no downtime was encountered

- The customer was deploying two new development wells and performed an intervention on one offshore well in Equatorial Guinea. Expro's local content and adaptability ensured machining work could be performed in country to meet the operational timeline
